طريقة تحضير الزلابية في المطبخ بخطوات بسيطة

Zalabia is a favorite dessert for millions of people, and some go to restaurants and shops to get it.
Here is a simple and easy way to prepare zalabia at home:
Ingredients for Zalabia:
– 2 cups of white flour
– 2 tablespoons of starch
– 1 tablespoon of instant yeast
– 1 teaspoon of sugar
– A pinch of salt
– 1 and a half cups of warm water
– 2 cups of sugar
– 1 cup of water
– Juice of half a lemon
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla
– Vegetable oil
Method of preparing Zalabia at home:
In a pot on the fire, mix sugar and water.
Let it boil without stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
When the mixture boils, add lemon juice and vanilla.
Let it boil for 5-7 minutes on low heat until it thickens.
Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool completely, as the crispness of zalabia lies in the cold and heavy syrup.
In a deep bowl, mix the flour, starch, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Gradually add warm water while stirring continuously until you get a liquid and smooth dough resembling cake batter.
Cover the bowl and leave it in a warm place for at least an hour until the dough ferments and doubles in size.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Using a small spoon moistened with oil, take a small piece of dough and cut it into small balls in the hot oil.
Flip the zalabia regularly until it takes on a beautiful golden color and becomes crispy on the outside.
Remove the zalabia from the oil and place it directly in the cold syrup for two minutes.
Drain off the excess syrup and serve.
